I am currently trying to configure iDrac on a company server and the LCD panel on the front seems to be permanently off. I was reading on this and it says the LCD cables may have gotten loose or I need to replace the control panel. Is there a way to configure the Idrac ip subnet and default gateway without the LCD? Could I restart the server and boot to it like in Idrac7?

ColbyG,
What you will need to do is hit F10 at the Dell splash screen. Once in the Lifecycle Controller scroll to the bottom of the list and select System Setup - Advanced Hardware Configuration - iDrac Settings - Network, then under IPv4 you can set the IP address. Then be certain to hit Apply before leaving.
Let me know if this helps you.
