RAID configuration problem
Hi,
I'm having a problem with a Dell Poweredge 1300. I hadnt used it for a while and now everytime it boots up there is a loud beeping noise and I get the following error:
Configuration of NVRAM and drives mismatch
1 Logical drive(s) failed.
anybody have any ideas / solutions?

If I recall correctly this means that the RAID controller is looking for certain disks, adn different ones are in the bays. Have you swapped the drives around?
If the data on the server isn't a big concern, going into RAID setup and resetting the config is the easiest way to clear this out.
