I would like to replace the proprietary Dell PSU by a standard ATX power supply in a Precision T7600. The owner's manual references two power connectors on the mainboard on page 44 section "System Board Components":
28. 24-pin power 1 connector
17. 24-pin power 2 connector

- Can anybody confirms that the 24-pin power 1 connector is 12V connectors on one side and ground connectors on the other? For this connector I will have to make some sort of adapter for a standard ATX power supply.
- Does anyody know if the 24-pin power 2 connector is a standard ATX pinout? Would a 24-pin power connector from a standard consumer ATX power supply directly work?
- Do you see any other problems with this procedure?
