Non-existent Precision 3540 support

I took delivery of my new Precision 3540 at the end of July.   I had been assured that this laptop would enable me to install an existing 2.5 inch SATA drive - but on examination there is no SATA interface or fixings, so I presume a fixing kit is needed.

I have  tried to contact support multiple times but always get cut off when they transfer me to technical, plus the website will not let me open a techical support request DESPITE the fact that support IS included with my purchase for a year.

I am disgusted with the lack of service, and this will be my last Dell machine after more than 20 years as a  customer.

I know this isn't the correct board - but for some unknown reason there IS no board for the Precision laptops!

When I ordered my Precision 3540, I was told I would be able to install an existing 2.5 inch SATA drive, but on examination, it appears that this cannot be done without a fixing kit of some kind.

I have contacted Dell several times and always end up getting cut off by the technical support department. Can anyone tell me (DELL Please!!!!) what the details for the fixing kit are?

I suspect it would be something like this though that kit doesn't specifically say it's for your model.
