I recently faced an issue with NW for Lotus wherein the Domino server crashed during backups. as per IBM, this is because the backup application used 1.9 GB of the total 2 GB RAM. They have recommended a parameter in Notes.ini that allows backup application to use a maximum of 215 MB RAM. We can change value and allocate a maximum memory usage for a given server.

Is anyone aware of a similar parameter for fine tuning the performance of EX on Domino. We will use Domino server memory for journalling. Can we have a restriction of the max. resources of the Domino server that journalling or archiving application can use?
