CDRW doesn't recognize blank cd's
Dimension 4500 system Windows 2000 XP My cdrw doesn't recognize any blank cd's when I put them in the drive. I've tried several different discs and a few different brands. No change. Tried updating the driver, no change. It will read cd's with data/ music on them already. I have made no changes to my system either, so I can't undo those. System restore is no help either.
Device Manager labels the drive HL-DT-ST CD-RW GCE-8400B
When I click on it from the My Computer folder I get a D:/ is not accessible Incorrect function message. It is the D drive so that is correct.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated
