I have a Dell laptop Inspiron 6000. I am not able to read DVD in station. I can read CDs.

 

I have also tried to put DVD films - used and new ones - but it will not read them.

 

I have downloaded the Driver to Pilips CDRW/DVD SCB5265 - but I think the driver already was on my computer.

 

When I put an empty DVD into the station it says that there is no CD there if I try to burn to it.

 

I don't know if I have explained enough. But the problem is that the stations can't read DVDs, but it can read CDs. It can't burn DVDs, but it can burn CDs.

 

Hope someone have a tip for me.
