Error Code 0F00:0244

my son's computer won't start, so I ran the diagnostics from the utility partition.

 

Came back with the following hard drive errors

 

Error Code 0F00:0244 on Read Test

Error Code 0f00:1A44 on Verify Test

 

both also had the following

 

Msg block 33656339:uncorrectable data error or media is write protected

 

from what i can see on message board it looks like we have a hard drive failure, if this is the case, what should I replace it with?
