Error message
When trying to copy to my "D" drive I get an error message that says" You do not have access to the folder "D". See administrator for access to this folder. I can open a cd from the "D" drive and copy back to it but when I try to copy to a blank CD-R I get the above message.
Please , any help would be appreciated. Dell no longer has free support for software issues.

Hi Getzie,
May I ask what is the name/model of the drive in question and what burning software are you trying to use?
Happy New Year!
God, grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway,
the good fortune to run into the ones I do and the eyesight to tell the
difference.

Jeff:
I am using Easy CD Creator 5 Basic and the drive is a Maxtor 52049U4. There are other letters HL-DT-ST-CD-RW GCE8482B.

Been out of Town, have you updated Roxio Basic to version 5.3.5 and also checked for a firmware update to the CD/RW drive?
Best Regards,
Jeff
