I'm sure you  will read this Jeff. Have you read of any fixes for this yet. When I went to try to burn a cd today, it got to the point of starting the burn, and then I get the sorry Roxio has encountered a problem and needs to close. I was on the Roxio site and apparently they say it's Microsoft's problem and they aren't going to throw any money at it rewriting their cd creator basic 5 software. I get the feeling they are going to faze it out and concentrate on the Platinum versions. I've got their latest up date 5.3.5.10. Guess all of us basic holders will have to up grade to Platinum soon.
