Salvage at reasonable value?

Tried the usual with local vendors after a power-source failure fried the drive.  Alternative vendors to the very pricy California DriveSavers.com?  Thanks for any suggestions.

If you mean the D-4600 PSU, then you can buy a unit for $39.29 including S&H from here.

I believe the poster is looking for a place that can retrieve data from a dead hard drive. I suggest you Google this but you'll want to spend lots of time reading feedback on the vendor.

Call and find out but I believe drive savers will not charge anything if they cannot get any data.

Ontrack charges $350 to diag/eval and then $3500 for actual data recovery.

I've used both vendors in the past. Don't never had the cant get my data from either vendor.
