Samsung HD103SJ failed!

Hi All

As the title states, I have a Samsung HD103SJ 1TB drive that died. It came in a Dell XPS 9100 earlier this year.

The drive seems to be less than a year old and it does not make any unusual noises. If it receives power it makes all the normal spinning up sounds for about 5 seconds and then it sounds like it spins down. If I power up a system with it, the POST takes very long, a couple minutes.

Entering the BIOS shows no drive.

Entering diagnostics shows no drive.

I have a hope that by replacing the circuit board from the drive I might regain access to the data. Of course the drive has to be an exact match. I am just hoping someone on these forums might have a matching drive and be willing to sell it? Or would Dell have it and if so, how can I order it?

This Samsung has HDD P/N: HD103SJ/D, Rev. A, FW: 1AJ10001.

Have contacted some companies selling drives and drive parts, still awaiting positive responses. Anyone have the drive here?
