I had a working audio on my vista ultimate installed on Inspiron 9400. Last weekend, I plugged in my headphones and mic to use skype. Since them, the audio is stuck in the headphones and my pc speakers don't work. I have tried uninstalling the sound card, deleting drivers, using xp drivers and pretty much everything I can think off but the sound only in the headphones. Can someone please help me restore my pc speaker functionality? I am running the latest version of drivers from dell support downloads and the headphones and mic work properly.
