Hi ive recently had two blue screen error notifications which shut down my pc, the first is showing internet explorer exp cannot open int .site http/facebook.com home php operation aborted, ,I have no problem accessing any other webpages and can only access facebook by deleting webpage history,

I have recently installed a new epson printer a couple of weeks ago and dont know if it relates to my next blue screen message im getting which is Bad Pool Caller which has shut down my machine but has started back up ok

Finally I am unable to play film dvds as it is showing windows media cant play dvd because a compatible dvd decoder is not installed .

Please could someone assist me to a solution and correct method of correcting these problems

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

You can try the steps below to see if that will resolve the error.

In internet explorer go to tools, Internet options then Advanced, next go to Enable third party browser extentions and uncheck it, hit Apply and ok.

thanks for your quick reply,I have solved one problem enabling me to watch my dvd on media player by downloading k-lite codec pack, I have carried out your instructions to cure my other problem.I am assuming this is aimed at curing the bad pool caller message I am limited in my knowledge of the cause of this error.

I have not had this message on again but am not confident as to if it is cured yet.

I am still getting the message on facebook internet explorer cant open file and aborted which is really frustrating and most annoying. I am accessing facebook at

present by deleting my history files. I have no problem downloading files with internet explorer only this facebook file.

Please could you advise
