My Documents Folder loads at Startup

When I boot up win xp "My Documents" folder loads up. Following past advice  given in this forum I have tried to turn it off using Run/msconfig/startup, but the folder's location is not listed (C:\Documents and Settings\xxxx\My Documents)

TIA

PS I had to change my name to XXXX as your system kept rejecting my msg because it contained profanity. My name Starts w/d then i, then c, then k. Could the system be over reactting?

See if there is a shortcut to it in the Start>All Programs>Startup Folder.  If so, delete it.
