Simple and possibly stupid question:  If you start out with a fresh partition, reinstall the XP MCE from the factory-supplied DVD (that has been confirmed as the correct software version), and install each and every single driver and application from the "Drivers and Utilities" factory-supplied CD (also confirmed) in the proper order, should I get the EXACT SAME OS that I had when I first turned the machine on after receiving it?

 

And if the answer is no, how do I go about achieving this?  If what Dell supplies with the machine does not resore the original factory install, what will?
