Outlook Express

Question

I have been trying to send an email w/picture attachments and everytime it locks up not only Outlook Express, but it also slows down my computer tremendously and I have DSL... I am using Norton Antivirus 2003 and have disabled scanning of outgoing email and that doesn't seem to help... I got an error message once that said my computer was out of virtual memory... can anyone help? Thanks phix71

Try going to MSCONFIG and check too see what programs are loading at startup. Uncheck programs which you do not want loading at startup. http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_index.htm

If the size of the picture attachments is quite large that could cause delays and/or problems sending e-mail even with DSL.
