I've have just completed a reinstall of my dim4550 and saw a reference to be able to upgrade to sp2 by a slipstream disk. Created the disk as per Paul Thurrotts's page but about a few minutes into the install it does a restart and then asks me to insert sp2 cd rom? It gave me 2 choices at the start upgrade or new install have tried both but same problem. After this I got the choice of 2 booting programmes "Windows XP home Edition" or Windows XP setup" I've managed to sort that problem out. Any ideas on the slipstream disk and why it did not work?
