something running in background

Question

Have a dimension 3000. new. I have a small window that briefly opens in the taskbar like there is something running in the background.  I also cannot change my toolbar at the top of the page without the system freezing up.  I have emptied cookies and temp. files.  I have also restored to a previous time.  Still having problems. sounds like you might have a virus or somthing dont take my word for it thought the slow speed and random freezing makes it sound like it.
