Vista and admin. security with Crysis
Alright, this has to do with Vista more than anything else. Crysis the game has a level editor, I was trying to install it. When I go to install it, it says: Error 1303: The installer has insufficient privelages to access this directory: c:\Program files\Elctronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\editor. The installation cannot continue. Log on as an admninistrator or cant your system admin.
I just now realized that I do not see an editor folder in this location! Is it hidden? How do I find out? I also 'AM logged in as an ADMIN and it says this! I had a bin32 folder I needed to gain access to, and I went into the properties to edit the security on it. It must be working since it does'nt say anything about the bin32 file now.
If the file is not hidden, etc, does going into the property menu to access the security on it work for user privelages?
This Windows Vista junk is new to me and I'm still trying to adapt...
