Dell Managed Detection and Response (MDR) is a fully managed, 24x7 security operations service that monitors, detects, investigates and responds to threats across your endpoints, network, infrastructure cloud, and specific detections for Dell infrastructure and devices. We combine Dell security experts with select industry-leading XDR platforms to help stop attacks before damage is done and strengthen your overall security posture.  

Dell MDR helps address common challenges such as keeping pace with fast-evolving threats, interpreting fragmented alerts from multiple security tools, standing up 24x7 SOC coverage, and finding and retaining skilled security professionals, so your internal team can focus on higher-value security and IT initiatives instead of constant alert triage. MDR also includes 40 hours of incident response initiation to speed recovery activities. 

Dell MDR leverages AI-enabled XDR analytics from leading XDR platform vendors, continuously updated threat intelligence and Dell security analysts to correlate telemetry across endpoint, network, cloud, and data protection environments, enabling unified detection, proactive threat hunting and guided or automated response that can isolate threats, contain attacker activity and support rapid recovery.  

Dell MDR provides coverage across your broader IT ecosystem, including endpoints, infrastructure systems, networks, cloud workloads, data protection platforms, and storage (such as AI Factory, PowerProtect and PowerScale) so you can extend continuous threat detection and response to where attackers often target first: critical runtime, data and backup environments.
