Bill Scannell

Bill Scannell serves as President & Chief Customer Officer at Dell Technologies, engaging with customers and partners around the world. He brings extensive experience to guide customer strategy, advance high-value initiatives and deliver meaningful value.

With more than four decades at Dell and EMC, Bill is a highly respected advisor to leaders across the global technology ecosystem. He is known his customer-first approach, high-trust leadership and expertise in structuring strategic partnerships.

Bill joined EMC in 1986 as a sales representative, progressed to country manager of Canada, and later led regional operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. He returned to the U.S. to lead worldwide sales and served as head of Global Sales & Customer Operations from 2012 through early 2026, including through the Dell-EMC merger.

Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Northeastern University and serves on the Board of Directors of Snowflake and the Advisory Board of IonQ.
