Our focus on circularity extends across our company and supply chain

From how we build our products to how we run our business and partner with our suppliers, circularity is key to reducing resource use. Here are just three examples of how we are delivering on this committment.

Renewable energy

Our ambition is to reach 100% renewable energy across our global operations by 2040, and 75% by 2030. We also work closely with our suppliers to identify renewable energy options in areas where such resources are limited as part of our commitment to partner with them to help reduce their own greenhouse gas emissions.

Water

We report to the CDP water program and ask that our suppliers do so as well. We have introduced closed-loop and rainwater collection systems at our facilities and work with suppliers to address water risks in local areas. Those supplier facilities in water-stressed regions or those with water intensive processes are asked to provide water risk mitigation plans to help drive water stewardship.

Waste

Designing for circularity allows us to keep products and materials in the circular economy for as long as possible in order to reduce waste.

Partnering broadly to drive a circular society

No single company can drive the circular transition on its own. We are committed to engaging with customers, suppliers and peers to identify best practices, remove barriers and support industry-wide initiatives — all with the ambition to redesign, reuse and recycle our end-to-end technology.
