David Kennedy
David Kennedy is Dell Technologies’ Chief Financial Officer. He oversees all aspects of the company’s finance organization, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury and investor relations, as well as corporate development, Global Business Operations and Dell Financial Services. He also partners closely with the office of the CEO and COO on the company’s long-term strategy to create value for Dell Technologies’ stakeholders.
David joined Dell in 1998 and has held various leadership roles spanning key areas of the company including serving as SVP of Global Business Operations, Finance, COO of Global Sales, and SVP and CFO of the Client Solutions Group.
David has been with Dell Technologies for 27 years, primarily in Finance. His career has included sales, business unit and international leadership roles, with 10-plus years in Ireland and India and most recently in Austin, Texas.
David is deeply committed to mentoring and developing the next generation of talent within Dell Technologies and the broader industry. His leadership style emphasizes collaboration, operational excellence and personal and professional growth.
David holds an honors degree in Business Studies from the University of Limerick (1998) and earned his ACMA accountancy qualification in 2001.
