The following article provides information on how to resolve video refresh problems seen on Latitude EXX50 systems


 

Video issues on battery power

 

There have been reports of a problem when watching videos on battery power. Some have reported issues whilst watching Windows Media Player. The audio works fine, but the video cuts outs unless you continually move the cursor about. This is an issue with the Video refresh settings on your PC. Please see the solution below for a quick guide to fix this issue.

Follow the guide below for a quick solution to this problem:

  1. Open the Intel Graphics Properties

  2. Select Power

  3. Turn Off Panel Self Refresh

  4. Apply the changes and exit the program
