To transfer 6 to 5000 products at a time, please fill out and then upload our CSV template. Transfers typically take 7 to 10 business days and up to 15 business days for international transfers.

The template should open in any spreadsheet application. We have added a row with examples to use as a guide for filling in your transfer information. For detailed instructions, please refer to the Bulk Transfer Guide.

When editing the CSV template, keep these formatting tips in mind:

Reminder:

  • The number of countries in the file will impact upload times
  • Files typically take less than 1 minute to upload
  • Upload window must remain open while processing

Do:

  • Enter one Service Tag per row
  • Write all text entries in English
  • Complete all fields not marked as Optional
  • Use only valid characters (e.g. A-Z a-z 0-9)
Do not:
  • Use special characters or dashes (e.g. ! @ #)
  • Abbreviate place names
  • Modify the first three rows of the template

Your request to transfer the warranty/ownership has been submitted. Please allow 7-10 business days for domestic transfers and 15 business days for international transfers. Email notification (if opted during submission) will be sent to the email address provided on the form once the request has been reviewed. Once the transfer has been processed or if we have additional questions, we’ll send emails to the previous and new owners.

All requests to transfer ownership, service, limited warranty* and Dell support are determined in Dell’s sole discretion. Dell reserves the right to refuse to honor any transfer requests and requests for warranty coverage and/or service. If Dell has not received payment for the subject system, even if you have made payment to another party, you may not return any transferred system under the Dell Return Policy. . All such transfer requests are also subject to Dell’s terms and conditions of sale located at www.dell.com.

Any service contract applicable to your system is identified by the Service Tag number and may be transferred only in conjunction with the transfer of the entire system. If the system is being transferred into a geographic location in which the same service as provided under the subject service contract is not available at the same price as was initially paid for this service contract by the customer, or if the new owner desires a different category of service, then there may be an additional charge for this transfer. All such transfers will otherwise be subject to the terms and conditions of the original service agreement. Service, the limited warranty or Dell support may not be available in your geographic location. No service and/or warranty will be extended solely because of this transfer.
