Before you begin, turn off the computer and disconnect all the attached peripherals to remove the memory module.
Loosen the screws securing the side cover. Slide and lift the COVID to remove it from the system. Identify the speaker and disconnect the cables to remove it. Find the fan and unlatch it. Lift the fan out of the system and unplug the cables to disconnect it. Identify and unlatch the memory module. Grasp the module by the edges to remove it from the system.
To reinstall the memory module, re latch it back to the system. Reconnect the fan cables and flip it over to place it back in the system. Re latch the fan and reconnect the speaker cables. Secure the side cover by tightening the screw.
