NetWorker: CONNECTEMC Fails to Send 'nsrctld NSR Notice Connectemc: Failed to Open Log File LOGS CONNECTEMC.LOG Error:2 No Such File or Directory'

Cause

Code defect. known issue: EZ 31929: NetWorker 9.1.1.5: ConnectEMC looks in the wrong relative path, and reports nsrctld NSR notice connectemc: failed to open log file "logs/ConnectEMC.log", Error:2 No such file or directory

Resolution

EMC Engineering is currently investigating this problem. A permanent fix is still in progress. Contact the EMC Customer Support Center for assistance and quote this article number.

Work around: Modify connectemc.run and add the comment and symbolic links as noted:
