Symptoms
Upon creating a filesystem (FS) with an identical name to the SNS name, SNS export cannot be mounted via NFSv4.
Customer Impact:
SNS export via NFSv4 will fail to mount. As a result access the SNS links will fail and be redirected to link targets.
This issue affects: PowerFlex, PowerMax, and PowerStore
Cause
This issue is due to SDNAS using a single namespace.
Resolution
Workaround:
Recreate the namespace with a different name.
The FS name should be different from the SNS root hosting filesystem name.
Important: Use NFSv4 version mount option explicitly while mounting the namespace to avoid auto-failback to NFSv3.
