Announcement

The Dell BSAFE Product Team announces the general availability of Dell BSAFE Micro Edition Suite 5.0.3. This release embeds the Dell BSAFE Crypto-C Micro Edition 4.1.5 FIPS 140-2 cryptographic module.

This release addresses a High security vulnerability. For more details, see DSA-2024-459: Dell BSAFE™ Micro Edition Suite Security Update.

This release also resolves the following issue:

  • TLS Client certificate not sent when Certificate Request message contains a certificate_authorities TLS extension that is empty.
