Data Domain: Upgrade Precheck Fails with "Replication Initialize in Progress" Message

Symptoms

During the DDOS upgrade precheck, the process fails with the following message 

"There is a replication initialize in progress, upgrade cannot proceed."
 

This occurs even when there are no replication contexts currently initializing.

Cause

This issue is due to a defect in the replication precheck logic within the DDOS upgrade process.

Resolution

Resolution

This issue is resolved in DDOS version 8.1.0.0 and later. Upgrading to this version or higher will prevent the precheck error from occurring.
