Ursache

The Avamar SharePoint VSS plug‑in cannot freeze Cluster Shared Volumes by using the Microsoft SQL VSS Writer. As a result, open database files on CSV storage cannot be accessed during backup, which generates <5139> file access errors.


 

Lösung

The Avamar SharePoint plug‑in does not support backups of SharePoint data when the SQL Server back‑end uses Cluster Shared Volumes. This configuration is unsupported and not tested.
