Avamar <->DPC RabbitMQ  AMQP over TLS TCP Incoming or Outgoing 5671 Activity monitoring
Avamar Server to DPC proxy over nginx HTTPS TCP Incoming or Outgoing 443 Verify SSO user, Retrieve signed root CA certificate.
Avamar Server to DPC UI over nginx HTTP TCP Incoming or Outgoing 80 only used in Avamar 7.5 and below
DPC ELG Tomcat to Avamar Server SOAP over HTTPS
  		 TPC Outgoing 9443 Policy management, health reporting


Data Domain

Connection Service Protocol DPC Port Purpose
DPC Monitor to DD SSH TCP Outgoing 22 Run DD CLI commands.
DPC ELG/Tomcat to DD REST API over TLS TCP Outgoing 3009 Uses DD REST API
DD to DPC SSO  HTTPS TPC Incoming 443 Verifies SSO user, SSO registration

 

Note: These tables are based on connection from the DPC side so the following applies:
  • Incoming is from Avamar or Data Domain to DPC.
  • Outgoing is from DPC to Avamar or Data Domain.
