Symptoms

Precision 7875 타워는 PXE 서버로 부팅할 수 없으며 OS로 계속 부팅됩니다. 이 문제는 사용자가 BIOS 설정 Wake On LAN을 "PXE 부팅 LAN 사용"으로 설정하고 인텔 I226 NIC 카드를 사용하여 Deep Sleep을 비활성화로 설정하여 S5 절전 모드에서 해제할 때 발생합니다.

Cause

Precision 7875 타워가 PCIe 엔드포인트 LAN 디바이스를 찾을 수 없음 PME(Power Management Event) 상태로 인해 WOL(Wake On LAN) 시 시스템이 PXE로 부팅할 수 없습니다.

 

Resolution

복구:

BIOS 설정을 "Deep sleep"을 수동으로 변경하여 S4/S5를 활성화(기본값)하고 "Boot Sequence"를 I226 NIC 카드로 PXE 부팅으로 변경합니다.
