Symptoms

"ERROR: Host XXX not found in the PPMA database" signifies that PPMA doesn't find the ESXi details in its database.

Cause

From the PPMA 3.4 version and above, to run rpowermt command from PPMA CLI, the ESXi host should be attached to vCenter and the same vCenter should be added to PPMA.

Resolution

Add the corresponding vCenter under which the ESXi is added and rpowermt commands should run fine.
