Symptoms
Replication Destination File System showing error "The storage resource is unavailable or may have a data inconsistency. Try rebooting the storage system".
Looking at the NAS Server for that file system on the Network TAB Interfaces & Routes we see an Alert "The system is unable to detect an Ethernet port or link aggregation on which the NAS server network interface was configured. Switch the interface to use another Ethernet port or link aggregation. If this does not help, restart the management software. If the problem persists, contact your service provider.".

Cause
In this case, since this is a Replication Destination, the NAS Server replication will automatically replicate the NAS server's IP and port from source side to destination side. If the destination site is on a different physical network the NAS Server will not be able to communicate on the destination network.
Resolution
Perform the below steps:
If the Nas Server Destination Interface can now communicate with the destination network the Alert will be cleared.
- Browse to the NAS Server and click the Edit icon.
- Select the Network Tab: Interfaces & Routes.
- Select the Network Interface that has the Alert and click the Edit icon.
- Check the "Override address" checkbox and select an Ethernet port on the destination network.
- Enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway and VLAN ID for the Destination Network.
- Click OK.
If the Nas Server Destination Interface can now communicate with the destination network the Alert will be cleared.
