ECS: After upgrade or deployment to Dell OS switch version 10.4.3.6, ECS xDoctor reports "Detected VLT port channel down on switch"

Summary: After upgrade to Dell OS switch version 10.4.3.6 on an EX300/EX500/EX3000 series of ECS; xDoctor reports "Detected VLT port channel down on switch".

Symptoms

This can impact the EX300/EX500/EX3000 series if the post upgrade is not done on the switches after upgrade or deployment on ECS 3.4.

After upgrade to ECS 3.4 or later on an EX300/EX500/EX3000 series of ECS, xDoctor reports "Detected VLT port channel down on switch".

Cause

A switch configuration is missing on one or all ECS switches after a switch upgrade/replacement was done during the ECS 3.4 cluster upgrade.

Resolution

Raise a service request with Dell support to resolve this issue mentioning this KB.
