Symptoms

When Dell PowerStore encounters a problem, an error alert is generated to help identify the issue. This article explains the different possible causes and the relevant solutions for these error alerts. Cause

The causes of these issues are described in the table in the Resolution section.

Resolution

Alert ID DCO_HOST_SYSTEM_DEGRADED
Title Host system %(mgmt_address) in degraded state
Error Code 0x00F00205
Description Though the host system is added successfully, the agent state is not normal.
Resolution Cause
The host agent is in a degraded state.

Solution
Verify that the host multipath software and host agent software are running on the host. If the problem still persists, contact technical support for further assistance.

 

Alert ID DCO_HOST_SYSTEM_HOST_RESUME_HUNG_312
Title Host system operation fail
Error Code 0x00F0020A
Description The host system operation has failed.
Resolution Cause
Host applications might have been impacted due to I/O failures.

Solution
Host reboot is required to recover. Once the reboot is done, perform a host refresh.
