Symptoms

La integración de NetWorker VMware Protection se configura con el vProxy Appliance.  Los respaldos de máquinas virtuales (VM) fallan con un error 30007 de VMware Virtual Disk Development Kit (VDDK) cuando se intenta acceder al disco de máquina virtual (VMDK).  Los registros del flujo de trabajo de respaldo muestran lo siguiente:

El vProxy /opt/emc/vproxy/runtime/logs/vbackupd/vbackupd-vddk.log muestra lo siguiente:

Al probar la conectividad mediante ProxyHC, notó que se utilizaba una IP diferente.

Cause

Los servicios de Domain Name System (DNS) están resolviendo el nombre de vCenter con dos direcciones IP diferentes.   Por ejemplo, la utilidad de línea de comandos nslookup de vProxy muestra lo siguiente: 
myvproxy:~ # nslookup myvcenter.mydomain.com
Server:         192.168.1.10
Address:        192.168.1.10#53

Name:   myvcenter.mydomain.com
Address: 192.168.1.51

Name:   myvcenter.mydomain.com
Address: 192.168.1.81

Resolution

Asegúrese de que la resolución de nombres de vCenter Server funcione correctamente en el entorno.  Si es necesario, configure la solución de virtualización de NetWorker para resolver el vCenter Server con una sola dirección IP.
