How to collect SANNAV supportsave from CLI using v2.1.1

Instructions


If the GUI (user interface) is not accessible because of some services not coming up. Here is a method to collect a partial or full SANnav supportsave:



(Note: the location and name of this script has changed from v2.1.0a to v2.1.1 as there is no longer a ...bin/supportsave script in V2.1.1)



1) Login to SANnav server as root or su to root
2) cd to ....Portal_2.1.1_bld184/bin/sannav_support_data
3) Run the script "./generate-sannav-support-data"

/root/Portal_2.1.1_bld184/bin/sannav_support_data

[root@sannav21-82-17 sannav_support_data]# ./generate-sannav-support-data
*********************************************************************************************
********************************** Support Data CLI *****************************************
*********************************************************************************************
1) Logs Only
2) Logs and Database
3) Exit
#? 2
SupportSave triggered to collect Logs and Database
4) Then cd to ....Portal_2.1.1_bld184/sannav_support_data for the tar.gz file********************************************************
