Cause

Wenn Sie versuchen, Dell Encryption mithilfe der ausführbaren Datei des Dell Encryption-Deinstallationsprogramms (C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\Dell Data Protection\DataSecurityUninstaller.exe) auf Endpunkten mit aktiver Pre-Boot-Authentifizierung zu deinstallieren, wird das Deinstallationsprogramm sofort mit einem generischen Fehler beendet.

Im DDPUninstall_Main.log auf C:\ProgramData\Dell\Dell Data Protection\ werden keine zusätzlichen Informationen zu dem Fehler angezeigt.

Resolution

Um das Dell Encryption Deinstallationsprogramm auf einem Endpunkt auszuführen, der mit Dell Full Disk Encryption oder Dell Encryption Self-Encrypting Drive Manager geschützt ist, müssen Sie zunächst die Pre-Boot-Authentifizierung deaktivieren.
