Échec de la désinstallation de Dell Encryption avec une erreur générique due à l’authentification avant le démarrage active

Si vous tentez de désinstaller Dell Encryption à l’aide du fichier exécutable de Dell Encryption Uninstaller (C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\Dell Data Protection\DataSecurityUninstaller.exe) sur les points de terminaison avec l’authentification avant le démarrage actif, le programme de désinstallation se ferme immédiatement avec une erreur générique.

Le fichier DDPUninstall_Main.log dans C:\ProgramData\Dell\Dell Data Protection\ n’affiche aucune information supplémentaire concernant l’erreur.

En consultant le fichier DDP_ClientSecurityFramework_Uninstall_MSI.log, il est possible de lire l’erreur ci-dessous au moment de la tentative de désinstallation.

Pour exécuter le programme de désinstallation de Dell Encryption sur un point de terminaison protégé par Dell Full Disk Encryption ou Dell Encryption Self-Encrypting Drive Manager, vous devez d’abord désactiver l’authentification avant démarrage.
