Instructions

  1. Logga in på switchen med rotanvändaren
  2. Kör telnet-kommandot:
Syntax: 
"telnet <IP ADDRESS OF SERVER > <PORT>"

Exempel på utförande av telnet för att kontrollera om en anslutning till en server med port 443 är tillgänglig: 
  • Anslutning har skett:
root> telnet 10.1x.1x.1xx 443
Trying 10.1x.1x.1xx...
Connected to 10.1x.1x.1xx.
Escape character is '^]'.
^]
telnet> close
Connection closed.
  • Anslutningen nekades: 
root>telnet 1.x.x.0.1 443
Trying 1x.0.0.1...

telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused

Obs! Telnet-kommandot är inte tillgängligt på äldre switchmodeller och FOS.


Obs! För switch över 9.1.x behöver användaren serviceshell åtkomst från Broadcom för att köra dessa kommandon eftersom rotkontot är inaktiverat.
