Symptoms

La aplicación del paquete acumulativo del sistema operativo de la plataforma NVE 2022 R4 v6 falla durante el paso 17 de 18, con el error "Failed to start NetWorker Management Console".

/space/avamar/var/avi/server_log/avinstaller.log.0 muestra lo siguiente:

El comando journalctl -xe muestra lo siguiente: 
journalctl -xe
-- Unit gst.service has begun starting up.
Feb 23 15:51:45 NVE_host gst_linux.sh[11988]: ERROR: NetWorker client (nsrexecd) is not running
Feb 23 15:51:45 NVE_host systemd[1]: gst.service: Control process exited, code=exited status=1
Feb 23 15:51:45 NVE_host systemd[1]: Failed to start NetWorker Management Console. -- Subject: Unit gst.service has failed

Cause

El servicio GST intenta iniciarse antes de que se ejecute el servicio de cliente de NetWorker (nsrexecd). 
ERROR: NetWorker client (nsrexecd) is not running

Resolution

Inicie manualmente el servicio nsrexecd mediante el comando: 
systemctl start nsrexecd
Monitoree el archivo /nsr/logs/daemon.raw en busca de errores relacionados con el inicio del servicio nsrexecd. Consulte los artículos de la base de conocimientos:
