Symptoms

I sjældne tilfælde kan rootFS begynde at fylde op på grund af adskillige logfiler, der oprettes på en påvirket node

Cause

Logrotation for interne strukturlogfiler af lille størrelse fungerer muligvis ikke som forventet, hvilket medfører, at disse logfiler akkumuleres på noden.

Resolution

  • ECS Engineering har implementeret en rettelse for at løse disse potentielle problemer med logrotation
    • STOF-9928 / STOF-10023: Rettelse af potentiel ukontrollabel vækst af strukturagentlogfiler, som redder systemet fra DU, forårsaget af at rootFS kører fuldt.
  • Det anbefales at opgradere til en kodeversion, der indeholder disse rettelser til logrotation:
    • Til ECS 3.8.0.x:
      • ECS 3.8.0.3 generel tilgængelighed (GA) og derover for resten af 3.8.0.x-serien.
      • ECS 3.8.0.2 General Patch 2 (GP2) og nyere GP er.
    • Til ECS 3.7.0.x:
      • ECS 3.7.0.6 General Patch 1 (GP1) og derover for resten af 3.7.0.x-serien
