Symptoms
Quando si utilizza VMware vCenter ESXi 8.0.u1 o versione successiva con PowerProtect Data Manager versione precedente alla 19.14, i processi di ripristino delle VM hanno esito negativo con:
ARV0019: VM Direct engine is unable to to restore the virtual machine 'VMName' on vCenter 'vCenterName' because of a vCenter API issue.
Nella sezione "Ulteriori informazioni" viene visualizzato un messaggio di errore simile al seguente:
Session 'xxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx' is unsuccessful: Unable to perform full-restore SDM operation. Unsuccessful after 99 attempts over <time>. The vCenter task for 'SDM Commit Restore' completed with state 'error'. The vCenter task failed: A specified parameter was not correct: snapshot Id
Cause
VMware vCenter ESXi 8.0.u1 è compatibile con PowerProtect Data Manager versione 19.14 e successive.
Resolution
Se si verifica questo problema, aggiornare PowerProtect Data Manager alla versione 19.14 o successiva.
Se ciò non è possibile e l'host vCenter ESXi è 8.0.u1, contattare il supporto tecnico Dell e indicare l'ID di questo articolo.
