Indledning
ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) gør det muligt at sende IPv4-pakker via netværk ved at oversætte IP-netværksadresser til MAC-hardwareadresser og MAC-adresser til IP-adresser. MAC-adressen og den tilsvarende IP-adresse for destinationsenheder bevares i ARP-tabellen. Ved hjælp af IP-adressen gør ARP-tabellen det muligt for switchen hurtigt at hente den tilknyttede MAC-adresse, indkapsle IP-pakken i en L2-ramme og sende den over netværket til en destination.Vis IPv4 ARP-poster
For at få vist ARP-tabelposter skal du bruge kommandoen show ip arp . For at filtrere outputtet skal du angive en grænseflade, portkanal eller VLAN, en IP-adresse i formatet x.x.x.x, en MAC-adresse eller en kombination af mere end én værdi, der passer til. Du kan også få vist oversigtsoplysninger og IPv4 ARP-poster i en bestemt VRF.Kommandosyntaks

Hvis du vil slette dynamisk indlærte IPv4-poster fra ARP-tabellen, skal du bruge kommandoen clear ip arp. Indtast en grænseflade, portkanal eller VLAN, en IPv4-adresse eller en kombination, der passer til, for at angive de poster, der skal slettes. Tryk på force for at slette statisk konfigurerede ARP-poster. Brug kommandoen show ip arp til at kontrollere, at IPv4-posterne er blevet slettet.
