Symptoms
- NMDA Sybase PIT recover fails with Incorrect time syntax
Incorrect time syntax in time string '<mon dd, yyy hh:mm:ss:sss>' used in the LOAD TRANSACTION UNTIL_TIME statement. Correct format is month day, year hour:minute:seconds:milliseconds[am | pm].
- month is expressed in Portuguese instead of English
- The Sybase client's region is set to Brazil. The language is set to Portuguese/Brazil. The locale is set to English.
- Backups are succeeding
Cause
Code defect. The issue occurred due to the date format.
Resolution
The code was modified to align the date format with the expected date format. The code fix is in NMDA 19.9.0.4 (tentative Jan 18th 2024).
