Symptoms

CSM Operator를 사용하여 추가 CSM 모듈 없이 CSI 드라이버를 배포하면 CSM Operator가 상태를 계산할 수 없습니다. 드라이버가 성공적으로 배포되었더라도 상태는 실패 상태입니다.

드라이버와 연결된 CSM 오브젝트에서 kubectl describe 를 실행하면 컨트롤러 및 노드 상태가 성공으로 표시되지만 전체 상태는 실패로 표시됩니다. 
kubectl describe csm -n vxflexos vxflexos
Status:
  Controller Status:
    Available:  1
    Desired:    1
    Failed:     0
  Node Status:
    Available:  2
    Desired:    2
    Failed:     0
  State:        Failed

kubectl get csm -A

수정 사항에 Succeeded가 표시된 후:

Cause

오퍼레이터 상태 코드는 모듈이 없는 드라이버 설치를 고려하지 않았습니다.

Resolution

해결 방법:
엔지니어링 팀은 Dell CSM(Container Storage Modules) v1.9.2에서 이 문제를 해결했습니다.
모듈이 없는 드라이버 배포 상태를 계산하도록 Operator가 업데이트되었습니다.
