Avamar: ERRORE "Il daemon SSH non è in esecuzione" dopo l'installazione del rollup del sistema operativo 2024R1v2

Symptoms

Dopo l'installazione di OS Security Rollup 2024R1v2, viene registrato un evento:

Cause

Durante l'installazione di OS Security Rollup 2024R1v2, la versione di OpenSSH viene aggiornata alla versione 8.4p1. La nuova versione viene visualizzata in modo diverso in ps -ef rispetto alle versioni precedenti.

MCS non è in grado di verificare che il daemon SSH sia in esecuzione e segnala lo stato SSH in modo errato.

Resolution

Questo problema è un falso negativo e non ha alcun impatto sulla funzionalità o sulle prestazioni di Avamar.

Il reparto Engineering ha confermato che la correzione è inclusa nella prossima patch cumulativa per Avamar versione 19.8, 19.9, 19.10 e 19.10 SP1 nei seguenti elementi:
  • 19.8: Hotfix 338843
  • 19.9: Hotfix 338827
  • 19.10 (19.10.0-135) e 19.10 SP1 (19.10.0-166): Hotfix 338839
